Test 1

|
1030 pounds of liquid oxygen and 380 pounds of gaseous oxygen
mixed with water was injected at the wellhead into an irregular, six-spot, waterflooded,
unconsolidated sand formation at a depth of 520 ft.
|
|
There was a 20 percent increase in production for approximately
40 days. Economic evaluation of the field test based on an ongoing operation showed a
cost of $352 with an incremental recovery of $776 of oil in approximately 60 days.
